Agreement to these terms

By using the MovingIL website (the Site) or by contacting us, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Who we are and what the service is

MovingIL is a service for coordinating moves between two places inside Israel. You tell us about your move, receive one contact and one closed price in writing, and we coordinate the parts of the move you choose, such as packing, furniture assembly and disassembly, and unpacking.

Disclosure: The Site and the service are operated by MovingIL. We coordinate your move with independent moving companies we work with. Those companies carry out the move and the physical services. MovingIL is not the company that carries out the move.

What the information on the Site is

The Site gives general information about the services and how we work. It does not contain a price list, and nothing on it is a binding offer, a promise of availability or advice of any kind. What you actually receive, where and when, is set out in the written quote.

Requests and quotes

• You contact us on WhatsApp, by phone or through the form on the Site and give details of the move: addresses, an approximate date, belongings, floors, elevators and the services you want.
• Based on those details we send you a written quote, usually on WhatsApp, which sets out the scope of the service, the date and the price.
• The quote is valid for the details, the date and the services stated in it. If a detail changes, such as another floor, more belongings or an added service, the price is updated in writing and with your agreement before the move.
• An agreement to carry out the move exists only once you have approved the written quote. An inquiry, a call or a message before then does not bind you or us.

What a closed price covers

The closed price covers the services, the addresses and the date written in the quote. Anything not written in it, for example a service added after you approved the quote, is not included and is priced only with your agreement. The written conversation between us serves as the record of what was agreed.

Who carries out the move

The move, and any packing, disassembly, assembly, unpacking or other service in your quote, is carried out by an independent moving company, and you are told which one before the moving date. MovingIL coordinates and passes messages and requests between you and that company. We do not promise that every service is available in every area or on every date. Availability is confirmed for each inquiry.

Access, parking and building rules

You are responsible for access to the property at both ends on moving day, including keys, booking the elevator where needed and obtaining any approval from the building committee or the municipality. Parking for a moving truck is set by each municipality, so please find out in advance. Boxes you pack yourself are carried as they are, without checking what is inside.

Dates and delays

The date in the quote is an agreed date. If a delay is outside anyone's control, for example a stuck elevator, a late key handover or unusual weather, the parties will agree on a replacement time as soon as they can.

Liability and damage

Responsibility for the quality of the work and for damage to property during the move is determined between you and the moving company that carries it out, under the terms of the quote and the law. MovingIL does not provide cover for damage and does not promise that such cover exists. Before you approve a quote, we recommend asking in writing what cover the moving company has.

Report any damage or missing item as soon as you can, in writing and with photos, in the conversation where you received the quote, and we will pass the report to the moving company. Nothing in these terms limits the rights Israeli law gives you as a consumer.

Payment, cancellation and changing the date

Payment terms, including whether a deposit is required, the payment methods and the due dates, and the conditions for cancellation or changing the date, are stated in the written quote before you approve it. Please do not rely on spoken promises that are not written in the quote. Nothing in these terms reduces any right of cancellation that the law gives consumers.

Items to keep with you

We recommend keeping documents, cash, jewelry, medication, computers, payment cards and keys with you instead of handing them over for packing or transport. Hazardous or flammable materials, perishable food and animals are not suitable for a standard move. If you have an item of high value or special fragility, mention it in your first message so that it is taken into account in the quote.

Accuracy of your details

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give on the Site, in the form and in conversation, such as addresses, floors, elevators, vehicle access and the list of items. A wrong or missing detail can affect the price and the timing.

Contacting you again

By contacting us you agree that we may reply on WhatsApp or by phone about your inquiry. We will not send unrelated promotional messages without your separate consent, and you can ask us at any point to stop contacting you.

Privacy

The details you send are used to handle your inquiry. To give you a quote and carry out the move we pass the moving company the details it needs for that purpose. The full description, including your right to see, correct and ask to delete your information, is in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use of the Site

You may not use the Site to send offensive, misleading or unlawful content, to try to damage its operation or security, or to collect information from it automatically. The Site is offered as it is. We aim to keep it available and accurate but do not promise it will be free of interruptions or errors.

Intellectual property

The text, design, logo and illustrations on the Site belong to its operator or to those who permitted it to use them. Please do not copy, publish or distribute them without written permission.

Language

The Site is available in Hebrew and in English. The Hebrew version of these terms is the binding one, and if the two versions differ, the Hebrew version prevails.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on the Site when you use it is the version that applies, and an update does not change a quote you approved in writing before the update.

Governing law and courts

Israeli law governs these terms and any dispute about the use of the Site. The competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction.
