What MovingIL does
Moving in Israel works differently from what many of us grew up with. Quotes arrive in Hebrew over the phone, the building decides when and where a truck can load, and the details that set the price, such as the stairs, the elevator, the parking and who takes the wardrobe apart, are rarely asked about until moving day. MovingIL puts one person between you and all of that. You write to us in English on WhatsApp, we ask the questions that matter, and you receive one closed price in writing.
We coordinate the parts of the move that you choose: packing, taking furniture apart and rebuilding it, crates, storage between homes, and unpacking at the other end. We also say plainly what we do not do. MovingIL handles moves inside Israel only. We do not ship from abroad, clear a lift at the port or deal with customs.
Who carries out your move
MovingIL coordinates your move. The packing, carrying and driving are done by independent moving companies we work with, not by MovingIL itself, and the company that carries out your move is named to you in writing before moving day.
How a move runs with MovingIL
1. You send the basics on WhatsApp: where you are moving from and to, the floors, whether there is an elevator, roughly what you own and your date. Photos and voice notes help. 2. We come back with one closed price in writing, tied to that list. You can accept it, decline it, or take your time. 3. Once you agree, an independent moving company confirms the date and carries out the move. We stay in the chat until the last box. If the list changes, the price is confirmed with you again before the work continues.
