1. Scope and who is responsible

This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, who receives it, how long it is kept and what your rights are — under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981 (including Amendment 13) and the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 2017.

The site is operated and hosted for MovingIL by Day2 AI (day2-ai.com), acting as a data processor: it processes the data only on MovingIL's instructions and for running the site, under a duty of confidentiality.

2. What we collect

  • When you use a form: name, phone, email (where asked) and your message; on quote forms also origin, destination and approximate date.
  • A voice recording — only if you choose to record one.
  • If you write a review: name, city, rating, text and an optional photo. The review (name, city, rating, text and photo) is published on the site.
  • Technical data: IP address and browser details are briefly logged by the server and the security service to protect the site.
  • Usage statistics (Google Analytics) — only if you accept in the cookie notice.

3. Why we use it

  • To reply to and handle your inquiry: answers, quotes, scheduling and the service you asked for.
  • To manage our contact with you and keep a record of your inquiry.
  • To secure the site and prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
  • To measure site usage statistically and improve it — only with your consent.

We do not send marketing mail, sell data, build profiles or collect sensitive data. We will not use your data for any other purpose without telling you and asking for your consent.

4. Is providing data mandatory?

There is no legal obligation to provide your details; you do so voluntarily and with your consent. Without a name and a way to reach you we cannot reply. Fields marked "optional" may be left empty, and you can always call us instead.

5. Who receives the data

  • MovingIL — to handle your inquiry.
  • Day2 AI — operates and hosts the site and receives a copy of inquiries in order to run the site and pass them on to MovingIL.
  • Hetzner Online GmbH — server hosting (Germany (EU)).
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — traffic delivery and attack protection; processes IP addresses and technical data.
  • Google LLC (Gmail / Google Workspace) — delivering the inquiry by email.
  • Google LLC (Google Analytics) — only with your consent; no advertising features, no Google Signals.
  • Google LLC (YouTube) — on pages with an embedded video, in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
  • WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) — only if you choose to message us on WhatsApp; that chat is governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy.
  • Competent authorities — only where the law requires it.

We do not sell, rent or pass personal data to advertisers or other third parties.

6. Transfers outside Israel

The servers that store the data are in Germany (EU). Cloudflare and Google may also process data in the United States and other countries. Transfers are made under the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 2001, to providers contractually bound to protect the data and use it only for the purpose it was transferred for.

7. How long we keep it

  • Website inquiries — up to 24 months, then deleted automatically from the site's system.
  • Voice recordings — up to 12 months, then deleted automatically.
  • Server and security logs — up to 90 days.
  • Google Analytics — per the account's retention setting, never more than 14 months.
  • If you become a customer of MovingIL, data needed for that relationship (e.g. invoices) is kept as the law requires. Copies of inquiries sent by email stay in the business's mailbox under its own practices.

8. Cookies and local storage

  • cookie-consent-v1 — remembers your cookie choice (local storage) — essential.
  • Accessibility settings — remembers your accessibility preferences (local storage) — essential.
  • lang — remembers your language on multilingual sites — essential, 1 year.
  • __cf_bm — Cloudflare bot protection — essential, 30 minutes.
  • _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics statistics — only with consent, up to 2 years.

There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site. You can change or withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page; withdrawing deletes the Google Analytics cookies and stops collection immediately.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the data and the admin area is limited to authorised people, backups are encrypted and servers are firewalled. In the event of a serious security incident we will act and report as the law requires.

10. Your rights

  • To access the data held about you (section 13 of the Law).
  • To ask for data that is incorrect, incomplete, unclear or outdated to be corrected or deleted (section 14).
  • To withdraw analytics-cookie consent at any time.
  • To ask us not to contact you again.

11. Minors

This site is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent to contact us for you.

12. Changes

We will post updates on this page with the date of the change. If we want to use data for a new purpose we will ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
